Rachel Schoor

Dr. Schoor, Project Coordinator at KCART, holds a Doctorate in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a master’s from Ball State University. With nearly 15 years of research experience, Dr. Schoor specializes in data management, analysis, and grant/publication writing. While her primary research interests focus on disabilities and health promotion, she has contributed to research in the fields of K-12 education, mental health, veterans in STEM, and motivational interviewing. She has also developed continuing education courses on mental health and gained direct-care experience in the intellectual and developmental disability (I/DD) field. Throughout each of these endeavors, she has strived to promote autonomy and self-determination for those impacted by her work.
